the COMPASSION project – May’s winner & June/July’s project

So.. yeah.. I am completely blown away. Like, not sure this is really the correct math, but since it is.. I am jaw-droppingly excited about this!

Between the donations that came from the fantastic staff at Jan Dils (attorney at law) (where one of the Richards family works) and my facebook fans – we were able to raise $802.49 to help the Wingrove family during their time of crisis. Pa Wingrove is sick with pancreatic cancer, and we hope this money will help him know his family will be cared for in this difficult time.

The winner of the photoshoot is Heather VanHoose! She will be notified and we will share the images here when they are finished!

I am THRILLED at the response for the first month’s project (that we started about a week ago!)

I cannot wait to see what else can come from each month’s compassion project. SO excited to see what God will do!

The next 2 month’s project will be a fundraiser to help Tim and I get to Honduras, to go on a mission trip. We have been asked to help bring back the story of what some of our local people are doing for a village in Honduras and to help expand what they have started there so cameras in tow, we are going to plan a trip to tell that story. We have been praying for God to use us, and this was one of the projects that started the idea of the compassion project altogether. Proceeds from this month’s project will help us pay for flights to and from Honduras as we travel with some of the Mid Ohio Valley locals to the place so dear to their hearts. We hope you will support this project and buy a raffle ticket for a photoshoot.
